From the time it was established, Orange Grove has prioritised giving back and being an active part of communities. This is because we believe that together we can make a sustainable difference. Each time we provide support, we believe we can help create an opportunity through which someone’s life can be changed for the better.
Examples of some of the numerous ways we have done this are to provide food at schools for learners, support safe haven centres where people can go during a crisis. We pay for crime stop notice boards to anonymously report crime. We also participate in projects to prevent Gender Based Violence (GBV) and sexual abuse as well as assist families to find missing children. To preserve, help teach and keep our history alive, Orange Grove has republished books and supports battle re-enactments.
Through events sponsoring, Orange Grove is able to assist in growing dreams and helping promote healthy life styles. Sports events, welfare festivals, community walks and assisting individuals to compete on national and international platforms are some of the many ways that we have been doing this.
